Connect the single-payment checkout.

The cart and order integration are built. Payments remain disabled until Golf Visa’s Square authorization is added and its live totals are verified.

1. Open the Square Developer Dashboard and select or create an application for Golf Visa.
2. Add its production access token to this Site’s secure hosting configuration as the secret SQUARE_ACCESS_TOKEN. Keep the token out of chat messages, source files and browser code.
3. The production location is already identified as L4SXE18SF0RVR. The checkout must use Golf Visa’s existing Canadian Square account and catalog.
4. Verify the catalog prices, HST treatment and delivery setup using the authorized account, including the $235 example: one GVNB plus one GVNS + GVNB pair.
5. After verification, set SQUARE_CHECKOUT_ENABLED=true in the hosting configuration and redeploy privately.

The required Square capabilities are reading the merchant location and order details, calculating orders, and creating payment links. A connection made with OAuth needs MERCHANT_PROFILE_READ, ORDERS_READ, ORDERS_WRITE and PAYMENTS_WRITE.

Current status: the explorer reports the connection status directly from the server. No live payment or authorized Square test has been performed yet.

Square hosts the payment form and collects the shipping address. The explorer never collects card details. The Site remains private.
